As a regional council, we are responsible for managing natural resources including air, soil, water and land. We work in partnership with mana whenua Ngāi Tahu to protect the health of our environment to ensure a sustainable and prosperous future for our region.

Kōrero mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Metro Info Agents are ambassadors for public transport across our region. You’ll provide tailored information and advice to customers, helping them navigate the Metro network with confidence.
We currently have two permanent part-time vacancies:
- One part-time role, 45 hours per fortnight (three days per week) rostered between the hours of 7am to 6.15pm Monday, Friday and Sunday.
- One part-time role, 50 hours per fortnight (five days per week) rostered between the hours of 12.30pm and 6.15pm Monday to Friday (5 hours per day).
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing frontline, face to face customer service
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email through our contact centre

Mātau ā-Wheako | Experience
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability, attention to detail and a positive attitude
- A knowledge of Greater Christchurch and the bus network would be advantage
