Kōrero mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner, you willl champion a strong safety culture and lead initiatives that make a real difference. You will partner with leaders and teams to embed best practice, manage risk, and deliver training that builds capability across the organisation. This is a role where your expertise will shape systems, influence behaviours, and keep our people safe and well.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving continuous improvement in health, safety & wellbeing practices
- Supporting leaders and teams to build safety capability
- Leading risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Developing and delivering HSW training and resources
- Contributing to policy, strategy, and cultural capability initiatives

Mōu │ About You
You will be a highly experienced Health Safety & Wellbeing Partner who will assist to drive continuous improvement, deliver practical solutions that keep our kaimahi safe while ensuring health safety & wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. You are pragmatic, solutions-focused, and confident influencing at all levels. Strong knowledge of legislation, risk management, and safety systems is essential, along with exceptional communication skills.
Mātau ā-Wheako | Experience
Ideally, you will have a relevant Occupational Health and Safety tertiary qualification or equivalent experience along with:
5 years in a similar role within a complex or high-risk environment.
- Strategic and future thinking, positive, enquiring mindset, ability to work autonomously and deliver quality time framed results
- Sound knowledge of health safety and wellbeing management systems
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of internal auditing and ICAM Investigation skills
- A current full class 1 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
