Kōrero mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The Metro Customer Care Trainer plays a critical role, working collaboratively to identify training needs and provide training programmes to ensure our team have the skills and knowledge to provide the best customer experience.
- Design and deliver customer care training
- Assess quality of service delivery and plan training packings based on evaluations
- Identify improvement opportunities to provide training and coaching
- Ensure training is delivered using best practice adult education principles
- Developing training materials and other learning and development resources

Mōu │ About You
You’ll be an experienced adult educator within a customer service environment. A strong communicator, someone who connects easily with the customers, members of your team, and the wider organisation. Your ability to prioritise a varied workload and solution focused approach will ensure you enjoy this role.
More about you:
- NZQA Unit Standard level 5 NZ Certificate in Adult and Teritary Teaching or similar
- 6 years in a customer service environment with a minimum of 2 years with
accountability for developing others and/or supervisory experience
- Strong teaching abilities and mentoring skills
