Kōrero mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Based in Timaru and reporting to Water and Land Team Leader you’ll join a dedicated and hardworking team. You’ll work in partnership with community and other stakeholders to progress the awareness of sustainable land use.

The role is not one that will have you stuck behind a desk all day as there’s plenty of field-based regional travel to provide you with variety and maximum job interest.
Mōu │ About You
To enjoy this role, you’ll be a strong communicator, someone who connects easily with the farming community, customers, members of your team, and key stakeholders. You’ll be a natural collaborator drawing people together, listening to their issues, and building trust, whilst influencing their view on improving environmental management.
Mātau ā-Wheako | Experience
Ideally, you’ll have a tertiary degree in a resource management or agriculture related field or the equivalent, evidenced, relevant work experience in this field along with experience in a role related to biodiversity, ecology, farming, resource management and sustainability management.
