Kōrero mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As the Team Leader – IT Service Delivery, you will lead our IT service management function, ensuring that our people have access to the technology support they need to work efficiently. You’ll be responsible for driving a customer-centric service culture, optimising IT support processes, and ensuring that our service delivery aligns with business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the IT Service Delivery team to provide exceptional support
- Managing service desk operations and ensuring best-practice IT service management
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align IT services with business needs
- Owning and refining ITIL-based service management processes across the department

You are a natural leader with a passion for delivering exceptional IT services and supporting a high-performing team. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience leading IT support or service delivery teams

- Strong knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks and best practices

- A track record of driving service improvements and efficiency gains
Mātau ā-Wheako | Experience
Ideally, you’ll be tertiary qualified in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in IT service management or IT operations leadership
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- A track record of leading a high-performing IT team
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working in a large and complex IT environment

Salary - The indictive salary range for role is $101,839 0k to $125,801 per annum based on skills and experience. The specific salary will be discussed at interview stage.
